An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Architectural Technologist to join an award-winning, multi-disciplinary design and planning consultancy with an outstanding reputation for delivering beautifully considered architecture across the rural, residential and leisure sectors.

Based from their stunning contemporary waterside studio in Skipton, with one of the most flexible hybrid working policies in the region, this is an opportunity to join a genuinely design-led practice where creativity, collaboration and technical excellence go hand in hand.

The practice has recently been recognised for its exceptional work through industry awards and continues to build an impressive portfolio of projects throughout the UK. Their work ranges from bespoke country homes and high-quality residential developments through to leisure destinations, heritage projects, visitor attractions and landscape-led masterplanning, often within some of the UK's most picturesque locations.

This role is open to experienced Senior Architectural Technologists living across West and North Yorkshire, with flexible hybrid working allowing you to enjoy the best of both collaborative studio culture and home working.

The Role

Working as part of a highly collaborative interdisciplinary team of Architects, Technologists, Landscape Architects and Planning Consultants, you'll play a key role in the technical development and delivery of exciting design-led projects from concept through to completion.

You'll contribute your technical expertise while working closely with the wider design team to ensure architectural quality is maintained throughout every stage of the project.

Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed technical drawings, packages and construction information.

Lead projects through a range of RIBA work stages.

Prepare specifications, schedules and technical documentation.

Coordinate with consultants, clients and contractors.

Attend project and client meetings.

Ensure designs are delivered to the highest technical and aesthetic standards.

Mentor junior team members where appropriate.

Work collaboratively within a highly creative multidisciplinary environment.

About You

Degree qualified in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.

CIAT accredited or working towards Chartership (preferred).

Several years' experience within UK architectural practice.

Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge.

Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations.

Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.

Experience producing high-quality technical packages across multiple RIBA stages.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Passion for well-designed architecture and collaborative working.

Salary & Benefits

£40,000 - £48,000 depending on experience
