Package Description: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our CQC-registered Brook Street Learning Disability respite service in Bexley.
This is an exciting opportunity to take full operational leadership of a vital service, inspiring and developing your team to deliver outstanding, person-centred care. Working in close partnership with the London Learning Disability Locality Manager, you will play a key role in driving quality, safety, and continuous improvement, ensuring the people we support receive the highest standard of care in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Your key responsibilities include:Delivering Outstanding Care
Ensuring individuals receive personalised support that promotes independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion, with care plans that reflect their evolving needs.
Driving Quality & Compliance
Overseeing CQC registration and ensuring the Brook Street service meets all regulatory and statutory requirements, maintaining safe, effective, and well-led services at all times.
Leading & Developing Teams
Providing day-to-day leadership to the staff team, ensuring effective management, clear direction, and ongoing support to maintain high standards of care and support delivery.
Ensuring Accountability
Managing safeguarding concerns, incidents, and complaints, while working closely with the Locality Manager to drive continuous improvement and ensure ongoing compliance across the service.
What We’re Looking For:Previous experience as a Registered Manager is highly desirable.
Demonstrable experience of working within a respite service, ideally within the Learning Disability sector.
Strong understanding of the adult social care sector and relevant regulatory frameworks, including CQC requirements.
Proven leadership and management experience with the ability to effectively oversee a service and staff team.
Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
A flexible approach to working hours to meet the needs of the service.
A minimum of 12 months remaining on your Right to work in the UK.
