Job Role: Electrical Engineer (Rotary Equipment)
Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, Days (40 hours per week)

The Client:
Interaction Recruitment are partnering with a well-established engineering business operating within the rotating machinery and renewable energy sectors. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking to appoint an Electrical Engineer to support a range of technically challenging projects.
What’s on offer:
£45,000 – £60,000 annual salary
Monday to Friday, days (40 hours per week)

The Role:
Design and develop electrical systems for rotating machinery, including upgrades and retrofits
Perform fault diagnosis, root cause analysis, and develop repair solutions
Support projects from initial design through to testing and commissioning
Carry out condition monitoring, diagnostics, and life assessments
Assist with technical proposals, tenders, and project delivery
Develop and review test procedures and analyse results
Ensure all work meets required technical, quality, and contractual standards
The Requirements:
Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
Experience working with high-voltage rotating equipment
Familiarity with electromagnetic design tools (e.g. MotorCAD, COMSOL)
Background in engineering design and manufacturing environments
Knowledge of motors, generators, transformers, and control systems
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and overseas
