Think Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Structural Technician or Senior Structural Technician to work for our client, a growing consultancy with a progressive culture, based in Sheffield with remote working options.
Who we are looking for
EngTech MICE chartered or working towards chartership with a view to sitting professional exam/interview in the near future
Minimum 2 years' experience, ideally in a multi-disciplinary consultancy environment
Experience producing detailed structural drawing packs suitable for various project stages from concept design to construction
Ability to produce accurate model geometry using Revit from which drawing content is produced. This is essential
AutoCAD experience - sparingly used however still necessary from time to time
Ability to work to projects standards including BEP's and EIR's
Experience working across a variety of sectors
Experience collaborating closely with engineers, clients and design teams to ensure coordinated and efficient design solutions
Assist in the development and maintenance of BIM standards and workflows
Experience delivering projects in reinforced concrete and steel
Experience in refurbishment/remodelling of existing structures
Willingness to mentor and impart knowledge to junior team membersWhat's in it for you
