We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Home Removals Technician to join our growing team in Northampton. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in delivering a professional and seamless moving experience for our customers.

Working as part of a motivated team, you’ll ensure the safe handling, loading, and transportation of customers’ belongings while maintaining exceptional service standards at all times.

The successful candidate must hold a valid UK Driving Licence.

Salary & Benefits

£13.50 p/h DOE (Approx £28k per annum)

Overtime paid after 40 hours

25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (33 days total)

Full on-the-job training provided

Working Hours

40 hours per week

Typically 07:30 – 16:30 (1-hour lunch included)

5 days out of 7 (Monday–Sunday rota)

Weekly rotas provided in advance (may vary depending on site)

Weekend shifts on a rotational basis
Key Responsibilities

Safely load and unload vehicles or storage containers

Handle customers’ belongings with care and professionalism

Deliver exceptional customer service during every interaction

Follow all company procedures, standards, and safety regulations

Maintain high standards of discipline, workmanship, and safety

Work to agreed schedules and ensure service expectations are met

Support and guide team members where required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

Have excellent spoken English and be both literate and numerate

Hold a full UK driving licence

Have a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service

Take great care when handling customers’ possessions

Be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

You will ideally also have:

Experience delivering high-quality customer service

The ability to work from plans/drawings and instruct others accordingly

A clear understanding of company standards relating to discipline, workmanship, and safety (including accident reporting)

Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and experience conducting risk assessments

Experience in office or commercial removals (desirable but not essential)
