Learning Disabilities Support Worker Opportunity (Experience with Autism) Make a Real Difference Every Day

Clover Care Group Ltd is seeking compassionate, patient, and reliable Support Workers how have learning disabilities and Autism experience, to join a dedicated care team supporting a young adult with additional needs in his beautiful family home which is large and modern.

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to deliver meaningful, person-centred careempowering independence while ensuring safety, dignity, and wellbeing at all times.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide tailored 2:1 support both within the home and in the community. Youll play a vital role in creating a calm, structured, and supportive environment Monday to Sunday 9am to 6pm.

Due to the nature of the role, which includes providing personal and intimate care, this position is open to female applicants only. This is in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1, relating to genuine occupational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver personalised care and support in line with individual needs
Assist with daily routines, including personal care and hygiene
Driving Licence is required
Encourage engagement in positive, structured activities
Support with meal times and safe eating practices
Monitor wellbeing and respond appropriately to signs of anxiety or distress
Follow care plans and contribute to a consistent, reassuring environment
About the Individual

You will be supporting a young adult who:

Has a learning disability and autism
May experience anxiety and benefits from reassurance and consistency
Thrives with structure, routine, and patient support
Requires close supervision to maintain safety, particularly around eating
Full training and ongoing guidance will be provided to ensure you feel confident and supported in your role.

Able to follow guidance and work consistently within care plans
Unfortunately we are curently not able to offer sponsorship
Experience in care and education essential, and further training is provided. Knowledge of autism or behaviours of concern is advantageous.
