HR & Compliance Administrator (Part-Time)
Location: Dorset
Hours: 20–25 hours per week
Salary: £13.30–£16.35 per hour (depending on experience)
The Opportunity We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing business for an organised and proactive HR & Compliance Administrator to join their growing team.
This is a varied role offering exposure across Human Resources, Compliance and Training Administration. You'll support the full employee lifecycle, help maintain compliance standards, coordinate onboarding, manage training records and provide key administrative support across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with HR administration experience, or an individual looking to further develop their career within Human Resources and Compliance.
The Role: You'll provide administrative support across both HR and Compliance functions, ensuring processes are completed accurately and efficiently while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
Support recruitment and onboarding administration
Coordinate new starter documentation and induction processes
Carry out employment verification and Right to Work checks
Prepare payroll information for processing
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Ensure electronic and paper files are compliant and up to dateCompliance
Support employee security screening and vetting processes
Verify employee and contractor documentation
Maintain compliance records and audit trails
Manage the company training matrix and training schedules
Monitor mandatory training completion and renewal dates
Provide administrative support across wider compliance activitiesAbout You
Essential
CIPD Level 3 qualified or currently working towards qualification
Previous administrative experience with excellent organisational skills
Strong attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Professional when handling confidential information
Excellent communication skills
Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlinesDesirable
Previous HR Administration or Compliance Administration experience
Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding or payroll administration
Knowledge of employee record management
Experience in security vetting or training compliance processesWhat's on Offer
