Hays are working in partnership with a leading Top 10 UK accountancy firm and the largest SME-focused practice in the market. Our client is looking to appoint a Senior Corporate Tax Manager, which offers a clear and progressive path to partnership.
The Role
As a Senior Manager, you will play a key role in leading client relationships and delivering high-quality tax services. You will:
Manage your own portfolio of clients, taking full ownership and responsibility
Oversee and support your team, contributing to workflow planning and delivery
Drive revenue and profitability targets within your portfolio
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Support and develop junior team members, contributing to a high-performing team cultureKey Responsibilities
Deliver a full range of corporate and personal tax compliance services
Provide tailored tax advice to clients ranging from fast-growing SMEs to larger corporates
Manage the end-to-end compliance process, ensuring deadlines and HMRC requirements are met
Liaise closely with clients to resolve queries and provide proactive support
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery
Support Partners on a range of advisory projects, with the opportunity to lead on key assignments.
Gain exposure to complex tax advisory work, developing your technical and commercial expertiseAbout You
CTA / ACA / ACCA / CA (or equivalent) qualified
Strong experience in Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax within a practice environment
Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service
Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to research complex tax issues
Experience across a variety of sectors would be advantageous.What's on Offer
