Are you an experienced Asbestos Analyst who takes pride in delivering accurate, compliant, and dependable work? Join Lucion’s Hazardous Materials team and play a vital role in helping clients create safe environments and move projects forward with confidence.
This is a field-based position with a focus around Hull, offering the opportunity to work for a purpose-driven, beyond net-zero business operating across multiple sectors worldwide.
The Role
As an Asbestos Analyst, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of analytical duties that support safe project delivery and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct air monitoring and airborne fibre counting in accordance with current legislation and industry guidance.
* Complete the 4-Stage Clearance (4SC) process, inspecting asbestos removal works and certifying compliant areas.
* Collect accurate site data and produce high-quality reports using our award-winning NexGen reporting system.
* Work in full compliance with asbestos legislation, HSE requirements, HSG248, and construction regulations.
* Maintain personal QHSE documentation and follow internal quality assurance procedures.
* Build professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and technical support teams.
* Deliver a consistently high standard of analytical and compliance-focused work.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* BOHS P403 and P404 qualifications, RSPH equivalent qualifications, or a Certificate of Competence.
* Strong working knowledge of HSG248 (The Analysts' Guide).
* A full UK manual driving licence.
* Flexibility to travel and undertake occasional out-of-hours work.
* The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team.
* Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and sound technical judgement.
