Russell Taylor Group are looking for a Clerk of works to work on a live MOD construction project in Woolwich starting ASAP!
Key Responsibilities
• Undertake regular site inspections and monitor construction activities
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality standards
• Identify defects, non-compliant works and quality issues
• Maintain detailed inspection records and reports
• Liaise with contractors, site management and project stake holders
• Monitor workmanship, materials and overall construction quality
• Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant building regulations and project requirements
Requirements
• Previous experience as a Clerk of Works, Site Inspector or Construction Quality Inspector
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and quality standards
• Experience working on public sector, defence, commercial or large-scale construction projects preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent reporting and communication skills
• Security clearance beneficial but not essential
• DBS Check
