Maintenance Assistant - Blackburn
Salary: £28,000 + Package
Our client is looking to recruit a reliable Maintenance Assistant to support the day-to-day maintenance of a large commercial building based in Blackburn.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll assist with planned and reactive maintenance tasks, helping to ensure the building remains safe, functional, and well maintained.
Package:
£28,000 basic salary.
Company package and benefits.

Immediate interviews available.Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out general building maintenance and minor repair works.
Assisting with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
Supporting qualified engineers and contractors on site.
Completing basic plumbing, joinery, painting and general fabric repairs where required.
Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety procedures.
Reporting maintenance issues and updating job records as required.Requirements:
Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities management or building services role.
Good all-round practical skills with the ability to carry out basic repairs.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential-practical experience is the priority
