Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a well-established, family-run business specialising in bespoke fabrication projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team working on varied, high-quality builds.
The Role
This is a hands-on position involving fabrication, assembly, modifications, and refurbishment work. You will be working with mid to heavy gauge materials and completing projects from start to finish to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabrication and assembly of components
* MIG welding (heavy plate up to 15mm)
* Working from drawings and specifications
* Carrying out modifications and refurbishment work
* Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Meeting production deadlines
Requirements
* MIG welding experience (minimum 3 years preferred)
* Strong fabrication background
* Experience working with heavy gauge materials
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Good understanding of health & safety
* Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
Pay Structure
* £15.00 per hour – Candidates with under 3 years MIG welding experience
* £17.50 per hour – Candidates with 3+ years MIG welding experience
Desirable
* Mechanical knowledge
* Experience working on large-scale builds or equipment
