Our client, a distinguished entity in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Customer Quality Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is fundamental in ensuring that all products and services delivered to customers meet aviation regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact for customers on all quality matters.
Investigate and resolve customer non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) where required.
Support internal teams to address quality issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Maintain compliance with AS9100 / AS9120 standards and customer-specific requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in processes and products to enhance customer satisfaction.
Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding quality issues and product compliance.
Participate in internal and external audits as required.
Produce and maintain accurate quality records, reports, and documentation to support compliance and traceability.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in quality engineering, ideally in a customer-facing role.
Knowledge of AS9100, AS9120, or other relevant quality standards (essential).
Experience with Non Conformance, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of working with internal teams and customers.
Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to work independently while supporting cross-functional initiatives.
Working knowledge of aerospace customer requirements.
Ability to read and understand technical data including drawings and specifications.
Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and MS Office.

Personal Characteristics:

Strong written and spoken communication skills together with a positive attitude, demonstrated in all correspondence (telephone, face-to-face, and email).
Organisation, time management, prioritising and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong commercial awareness and customer service ethics.
