Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Night Support Worker to join a specialist 18-25 Independent Living Service on an ongoing temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 3-4 nights per week on a rota basis, including weekends.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide overnight support to young people aged 18-25 with Autism and ADHD.
* Promote a safe, calm and supportive environment throughout the night.
* Carry out welfare checks and respond appropriately to incidents, concerns or emergencies.
* Support residents with emotional wellbeing and anxiety management when required.
* Encourage independence and reinforce daily living skills and routines.
* Maintain accurate records, reports and handovers for the day team.
* Work in partnership with external agencies and professionals where appropriate.
* Support young people to sustain their accommodation and develop positive life skills.
* Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational policies are followed at all times.
About You
* Passionate about supporting young people and promoting independence.
* Experienced in supporting individuals with Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, mental health needs or complex support needs.
* Calm, patient and resilient, with the ability to build positive relationships.
* A strong communicator with excellent observation and record-keeping skills.
