We are recruiting a Registered Manager on behalf of a children's residential care provider operating small, high-quality 2–4 bed homes for young people with emotional and behavioural needs. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Crewe.

The provider is committed to creating safe, nurturing, family-like environments where young people can genuinely thrive, supported by a skilled and dedicated staff team.

The Role

As Registered Manager you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the home, ensuring regulatory compliance, high standards of care, and a positive, person-centred culture throughout the staff team.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing and leading the staff team, fostering a culture of excellence and compassion
Overseeing the implementation and review of individual care plans for young people with EBD
Ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulatory standards and safeguarding frameworks
Budget management and resource allocation
Building and maintaining effective relationships with placing authorities and wider stakeholders
Driving and sustaining positive Ofsted outcomes

Requirements

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards)
Proven experience as a Registered Manager or senior leader within children's residential care
Strong working knowledge of care standards, safeguarding legislation, and regulatory frameworks
Experience supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties
History of good or outstanding Ofsted ratings
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Remuneration

up to £65,000 basic salary
