Are you a Quality Technician, Laboratory Technician, or Materials Testing professional looking to join a UK-leading manufacturer supplying precision-engineered polymer components to the aerospace, defence, energy, and advanced engineering sectors worldwide?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected manufacturer at the forefront of precision polymer machining, where you'll play a key role in ensuring product quality through laboratory testing, inspection, and continuous improvement activities.

In this role, you'll manage and operate the materials testing laboratory, carrying out a range of mechanical and material tests on raw materials, work-in-progress components, and finished products.

The ideal candidate will have experience within a laboratory, quality, materials testing, or manufacturing environment, with an interest in materials science, polymers, or engineering products.

The Role:

Operating and managing the Materials Testing Laboratory
Conducting tensile, hardness, density, elongation, and DSC testing
Preparing test specimens and operating laboratory equipment
Managing calibration schedules and laboratory records
Assisting with root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects

The Person:

Experience within Quality, Laboratory Testing, Materials Testing, or Manufacturing Quality
Background in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field beneficial
