Health, Safety & Environmental Manager
Location: West London
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum + Company Car / Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
A leading social housing contractor is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to support the delivery of repairs, maintenance, compliance, and planned works contracts across West London.
The Role
You will be responsible for promoting a positive health, safety, and environmental culture across operational teams, ensuring compliance with legislation, company procedures, and industry best practice.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting site audits and inspections across social housing properties
Providing HSE advice and support to operational teams and management
Leading accident, incident, and near-miss investigations
Producing reports and implementing corrective actions
Supporting compliance with ISO management systems
Delivering training, coaching, and guidance to employees
Ensuring health, safety, and environmental best practice is maintained across contracts
Requirements
Previous experience within Social Housing, Repairs & Maintenance, Facilities Management, or Construction
NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)
NEBOSH Diploma or working towards (desirable)
Experience managing HSE across multiple sites
Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
Full UK Driving Licence
