Job Title: MOT Tester
Location: St Ives
Hours: 08.00-17.00
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified MOT Tester to join a brand new automotive team based in St Ives. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality vehicle inspections while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out MOT tests in accordance with current DVSA regulations and standards.
Accurately complete all MOT documentation and records.
Identify and report vehicle defects and safety issues.
Conduct vehicle inspections and basic diagnostics as required.
Liaise with technicians and service advisors regarding repair requirements.
Ensure all equipment is maintained and used correctly.
Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
Essential
Valid MOT Tester qualification and current testing licence.
Proven experience as an MOT Tester.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong knowledge of DVSA testing procedures and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification (or equivalent).
Experience with diagnostics and servicing.
Hybrid and electric vehicle knowledge.
