Procurement Specialist – Greenvolt Next Ireland
Greenvolt Next Ireland is a leading provider of innovative renewable energy solutions for commercial and industrial clients. We are committed to delivering sustainable, high-impact energy projects that support the transition to a low-carbon future.
We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the efficient sourcing and delivery of materials and services across our projects.
Location: Warrington (office-based)
Applicants must be willing to work from the office.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage procurement activities for materials, equipment and services
* Negotiate supplier agreements, pricing and commercial terms
* Support contract management and order fulfilment processes
* Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
* Conduct market analysis to ensure cost-effective sourcing
* Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality standards are met
* Support project teams by ensuring timely procurement delivery
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive value improvements
Strategic & Commercial Focus
* Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation and selection processes
* Support development of procurement and contracting strategies
* Ensure alignment with company standards and commercial targets
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders across projects and regions
Requirements
* Relevant third-level degree or equivalent experience
* Experience in procurement within construction, engineering, or energy sectors
* Strong understanding of contract management and tendering processes
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* Strong commercial awareness and cost focus
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
* Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
* Team-oriented with strong organisational skills
