Trust Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in the S75 area for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 class. This is a full-time role running from September 2026 through to July 2027, offering a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in Key Stage 2.
The Role:
Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
Working with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning
Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation of resources
Providing support for pupils with a range of learning needs
Helping to maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within Key Stage 2
Be patient, caring, and passionate about supporting children’s development
Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
Be reliable, organised, and proactive
Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
