Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Location: Luton
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (DOE)
Start Date: ASAP
Our client is a long-established manufacturer supplying specialist technical equipment to customers worldwide. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join their production team on a permanent basis.
Working within a hands-on production environment, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and soldering electronic and electro-mechanical products to detailed specifications. This role would suit someone with a strong assembly background who can work independently and maintain high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Assemble electro-mechanical products and sub-assemblies.
Carry out soldering, wiring, crimping, and cable assembly.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Use hand tools and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
Inspect completed assemblies and report any faults or quality issues.
Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in electro-mechanical or electronics assembly.
Strong soldering and wiring skills.
Ability to read technical drawings and circuit diagrams.
Experience using hand tools and production equipment.
IPC certification or knowledge of IPC standards would be advantageous.
