Vehicle Mechanic

Thrive Group are delighted to be with our client in Westbury who is actively looking to recruit a Vehicle Mechanic to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
You will be responsible for inspecting , service and maintain our fleet of trucks and bulk pneumatic discharge trailers

Servicing and inspecting all trailers on a rotational basis.
MOT completion.
Repairing of trailer fleet and minor repairs to the trucks.
Fill out & rectify Defects Trailers & minor Defects on Trucks. What you will need to succeed:

Equivalent of City & Guilds Motor Vehicle Engineering.
HGV Class 1.
Good level of communication and numeracy.
Good communication skills specifically at driver level.
High level of organisation skills. What you will receive in return:

£48,000 to £52,000 (DOE)
Monday to Friday 07.00AM to 17.00PM - 1 hour for lunch
Training and development from day one
Secure contract, guaranteed hours and opportunities for overtime
