Are you looking for a long-term Year 4 Teacher role within a supportive Primary School?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Swadlincote. The school is committed to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning.

The school is looking to appoint a Year 4 Teacher on a part-time basis, working Wednesday to Friday from September 2026 until July 2027. The successful Year 4 Teacher will be responsible for delivering the Key Stage 2 / KS2 curriculum, planning and assessing learning, and ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential throughout the academic year.

The successful Year 4 Teacher will have:

• QTS

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2

• Excellent classroom management skills

• Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum

• The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons

• A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning
