Our client, a well-established warranty provider based in Reading, Berkshire, is seeking a Warranty Claims Assessor to become a key member of their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced automotive professionals to advance their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Competitive basic salary up to £32,500 with earnings up to £34,100 OTE
Monday to Friday working hours, 8.30am – 5.30pm
Up to 1 Saturday work per month (9am – 4pm)

Assess warranty repair claims using industry-specific software
Liaise with workshops and customers via telephone, email, and internal systems
Verify repair costs, diagnose causes for mechanical and electrical failures
Ensure accuracy of parts and labour costs, sourcing reconditioned or refurbished parts when appropriate
Process customer contributions for repairs
Maintain knowledge of warranty cover levels and procedures
Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally
Comply with GDPR and data protection regulations
Perform other duties as assigned by managementRequirements for the Warranty Claims Assessor position:

Automotive or mechanical background with experience as a service advisor, technician, or engineer
Strong customer service skills and excellent communication abilities
Knowledge of warranty procedures, claims processing, and industry software
Proficiency in CRM systems and repair management tools
Organised with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
