About the Role
Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people? We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in a residential children’s home In Lincolnshire.
You will play a key role in providing high-quality, trauma-informed care and creating a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Build trusting, positive relationships with children and young people through consistent, trauma-informed care
* Support daily routines including education, meals, hobbies, and recreational activities
* Assist with emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs in line with individual care plans
* Promote a safe, stable, and nurturing environment that supports healing and personal growth
* Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and organisational procedures at all times
* Maintain accurate records and reports in line with policies and regulatory standards
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, social workers, and external professionals
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children or young people in residential, educational, or social care settings (desirable)
* Understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and attachment theory
* Ability to stay calm, patient, and responsive in challenging situations
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexible and reliable, with availability for shifts including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins
* A full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential)
* Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (support provided)
