Structural Engineer (Contract) – Central Belt of UK
We are currently recruiting for two Structural Engineers to join a major structural inspection programme, with one position covering the Central belt of the UK.
This is an initial 3-month contract with an immediate start available. Ideally, successful candidates will remain on the programme for its full duration, although flexibility can be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out 5-yearly structural surveys and inspections of steel fire staircases
• Conduct site inspections and assess structural condition
• Produce detailed survey and inspection reports
• Manage multiple site visits daily, with a target of approximately 8–10 inspections per day
• Ensure inspections are completed safely and in line with required standards
Requirements:
• Qualified Structural Engineer
• Previous experience carrying out structural inspections and surveys
• Strong technical reporting skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
• BPSS or SC clearance desirable (clearance support available if not already held)
