Siamo Recruitment are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner; to join a busy Conveyancing Department on a permanent basis.
It is essential that you have previous experience in a fast-paced Conveyancing department and would suit someone with 2- 4 years PQE
Due to our head office location, it is preferable for candidates to hold a full UK Driving Licence and have their own transport.
Previous experience as a Conveyancing Fee Earner is essential as we are looking for someone who can “hit the ground running” from day one, although full training will be given on our internal systems and procedures.
Main responsibilities:
To be responsible for day to day running of fee earning files with minimum supervision from your Head of Department ensuring compliance with internal procedures and SRA guidelines.
Deal with all aspects of sales and purchase transactions from first instructions to post completion filing of SDLT return at HMRC and registration of title at Land Registry;
Ensure compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct and the CQS standard and Conveyancing Protocol & Core Practice Management Standards.
Understanding of Money Laundering, Mortgage Fraud, Cyber Crime and the risks facing the conveyancing profession
Ability to undertake all aspects of Residential Conveyancing fee earning work.The above list is not intended to be exhaustive, and a large degree of flexibility is expected.
Our conveyancing department deals with all aspects of residential property work including sales, purchases, probate sales, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, and equity release.
Our generous benefits package includes 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) along with your birthday and also the days between Christmas & New Year.
