Residential Childcare Worker
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £13.20 per hour (Unqualified) | £13.50 per hour (Qualified Residential Childcare Worker)
Hours: Full-Time – 40 hours per week (174 hours per month)
Additional: Sleep-in duties may be required

About the Role:
Resolve Recruitment Services are recruiting Residential Childcare Workers on behalf of a growing childcare provider in Doncaster.

This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate and dedicated individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people within a residential care setting. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can develop, thrive, and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
– Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
– Promote the safety, wellbeing, and development of children in your care.
– Build positive and trusting relationships with young people.
– Support children with daily routines, education, social activities, and life skills development.
– Implement care plans and support strategies tailored to individual needs.
– Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
– Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development.
– Work closely with colleagues and external professionals to ensure high standards of care.
– Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies at all times.

Requirements
– Previous experience working with children and young people is desirable.
– Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) desirable.
– Willingness to work towards a Level 3 qualification within the required timeframe.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Compassionate, resilient, and child-focused approach.
– Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
– Full UK driving licence desirable.
