Planning Coordinator - Basingstoke - 11‑month temporary role to start ASAP- £14.35 per hour - Office based (Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday on a rota)
We're currently recruiting for a proactive and highly organised Planning Coordinator to join a supportive and growing team due to a big project. This is a key role focused on coordinating schedules and ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day planning of activity, helping to deliver a seamless service to clients.
You'll be at the heart of operations, managing diaries, coordinating appointments, and ensuring time and resources are used as effectively as possible.
Key responsibilities
Plan and organise surveyor schedules, ensuring efficient allocation of appointments
Coordinate diaries with consideration for travel, location, and workload
Liaise with customers and surveyors to arrange, confirm, and update bookings
Handle changes and re‑prioritisation of schedules in a responsive and solutions‑focused way
Maintain accurate planning records and update systems accordingly
Monitor activity levels, including cancellations and rescheduling trends
Work closely with internal teams to support smooth service delivery
Skills and experience
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
Excellent communication, both written and verbal
A proactive, problem‑solving approach
Comfortable working with systems and Microsoft Office
Previous experience in planning, coordination, or administrative roles is advantageous
