Peace Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Housing Administrator to join a small, friendly Housing Association based in East Glasgow on a temporary contract for 3–6 months.
This is a fully office-based role and is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused administrator to support a busy housing team.
Please note: Previous experience working within the social housing sector is essential. Applications from candidates without social housing experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing administrative support to the Housing Team
* Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with tenant enquiries
* Managing emails and responding to customer queries
* Maintaining accurate housing records and databases
* Preparing letters, reports and other documentation
* Processing housing applications and related paperwork
* Scheduling appointments and supporting Housing Officers
* General office administration, including filing, scanning and data entry
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Essential: Previous administration experience within a Housing Association, Local Authority Housing Team or other social housing organisation
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
* Good organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* The ability to manage a varied workload and work both independently and as part of a team
