Oracle Grants Consultant - Oracle Cloud ERP

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Grants Consultant to support a major transformation programme implementing Oracle Cloud ERP across a large public-sector organisation. You will play a key role in designing, configuring, and delivering the Oracle Grants Management solution, ensuring compliance with funding rules and enabling effective management of externally funded projects.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the configuration of Oracle Grants Management including awards, funding sources, expenditure types, controls, and project templates.

Work closely with Finance, Projects, Procurement, and HR teams to ensure end-to-end process alignment across the programme.

Support the design and delivery of Oracle PPM components related to grants, sponsored projects, and award management.

Develop and validate grant budgets, funding allocations, and spending controls.

Provide expertise on grant billing, revenue recognition, and compliance.

Produce functional documentation including solution designs, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and training materials.

Support SIT, UAT, and cutover activities.

Build and maintain OTBI and BI Publisher reports for grant performance, spend, and audit requirements.

Act as a subject-matter expert for all grant-related processes during and after implementation.

Essential Skills & Experience
Strong experience as an Oracle Grants Consultant, PPM Consultant, or Financials/Projects Functional Consultant.

Hands-on configuration experience with Oracle Grants Management (Cloud or EBS).

Deep understanding of award life cycle, grant budgeting, sponsored projects, and grant accounting.

Experience working in public sector, higher education, research, NHS, or charity environments.

Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP, especially PPM, Financials, and Procurement.

Ability to translate complex funding rules into system configuration and controls.

Experience producing functional documentation, test scenarios, and training content.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
