About the role
TimePlan Education are currently recruiting for a strong and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work full-time in a supportive mainstream primary school in Wallington.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated TA who has a strong understanding of supporting pupils with additional needs and is passionate about helping children thrive within a mainstream classroom setting.
Key responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
Support children's academic, social, and emotional development
Implement strategies to support individual learning needs
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Support effective behaviour management strategiesRequirements
Previous experience working with children with SEND in a school setting
Strong understanding of SEND and inclusive practice
Confident supporting children with varying additional needs
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Patient, proactive, and adaptable approachDesirable
Childcare Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (not essential)What we offer
