* Contract Type: Full Time / Temp to Perm

* Start Date: September 2026

* Pay Rate: £130–£250 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

* Experience: Minimum 6 months' teaching experience in a UK primary school

* Overview

Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Derby to recruit a dedicated Primary Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed educator to join a supportive school environment and make a positive impact on pupils' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum

* Plan, prepare, and assess lessons that meet the needs of all learners

* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high standards of behaviour and achievement

* Monitor pupil progress and implement strategies to support attainment and development

* Differentiate learning activities to meet a range of abilities and learning needs

* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support pupil outcomes

* Contribute to wider school life, including school events, meetings, and extracurricular activities

* Attend staff meetings, CPD sessions, and parents' evenings as required

The Ideal Candidate:

* Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching experience in a UK primary setting

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

* Has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching practices

* Is passionate about inspiring and supporting young learners

* Has excellent classroom management and communication skills

* Demonstrates a collaborative approach and commitment to whole-school improvement

* Can build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
