Teaching Assistant
Seeking a full time and permanent Teaching Assistant to work with children at our primary school.
Ideally seeking someone that has a BA University Degree from either UK or overseas in early years education or education. Alternatively someone who is passionate about working with children and would be interested in gaining more classroom based experience working with them.
Starting salary: £22'000- £23'000pa + excellent further training and career progression opportunities will be provided. 12 weeks paid holiday, including 6 weeks summer holiday, half term holidays and easter, christmas paid holidays.
Duties and responsibilities include:
* Assisting the teacher in planning and implementing creative and learning activities for children in line with primary school national curriculum
* Supporting the delivery of learning for each pupil to enable them to reach their potential, working with individual pupils or small groups or within a whole class setting to support the delivery of high standards of teaching and learning and pupil progress.
* Respond to the specific learning needs of the pupil(s).
* Be proactive in managing pupil behaviour and supervise pupils at lunch and break times as required.
* Carry out observations of children and ensure safety and well being at all time
