Carlisle (Office & Site Based)
£60,000 - £70,000 + Company Car/Allowance + Bonus + Clear Progression + Funded Training + 33 Days Holiday
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established, family-run construction business with an outstanding reputation for staff retention, career development, and long-term progression.

The successful candidate will work across both office and site environments, managing commercial aspects of multiple projects while collaborating closely with operational, procurement and engineering teams.

The Role
Managing the commercial aspects of multiple construction and civil engineering projects
Preparing valuations, cost reports and commercial analysis
Contract administration and management
Evaluating, appointing and managing subcontractors
Identifying, pricing and negotiating variations
Attending progress meetings and stakeholder meetings
Monitoring project budgets and financial performance
Working closely with site, engineering and procurement teams
Ensuring compliance with contractual, legal and quality requirements
Office and site-based role
The Person
Quantity Surveying experience within construction, civils, groundworks or infrastructure
Good contract knowledge
Strong organisational and communication skills
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills
Degree qualified preferred but not essential
Motivated individual looking for long-term career progression
Full UK Driving Licence
