Do you find that you work best when your hobby and work are aligned?
Do you code about and play with drones in your free time?
Would you like to get paid to do so? :D
If that’s a resounding “YES!!” I hear you scream, then…you should probably apply for this role!
I’m working with a little company in Lincoln who are looking to expand their dev team to increase their capacity for cool drone-related tech.
They are a friendly bunch of nerdy chaps who love what they do, and have a grand old time doing it!
I am after someone with a good few years of experience working with C++ and surrounding tech-coming from a military/defence/aviation background would be stellar- who loves getting their hands dirty and tinkering with tech, especially hardware and low-level code. You’ll ideally be an aerospace fan, and love understanding how hardware and software fit together.
You’ll be someone who really enjoys a good head-scratcher of a problem that might take some doing to solve, but when you get a solution, it’s the best thing ever.
You’ll be a reliable and hard-working team member, who can easily and happily interact with others, share your thoughts, and put forward ideas.
They are a supportive bunch there and will look after you. The work you do for them is needed, appreciated and rewarded – they have good career progression and team feel.
Key skills are;
C++
QT framework would be beneficial, as that’s what they use on the front end
Network programming
Any experience with TDD, Git/ Bitbucket, or QT creator would be great. Ideally, you’ll be happy on either Linux or Windows, too.
If this sounds like you, and you screamed “YES!!” at the start of reading this advert, then apply now and we can get chatting about your new role!
We welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect, regardless of background
