Immediate Start
£275 - £300 Daily
Contract/Project
Reginald Gray is thrilled to be working with a longstanding client to appoint a standalone Site Manager for a £1.1m technical fit out to a research and development facility in Oxfordshire.
This is a hands on, autonomous delivery role reporting into a visiting Project Manager. The right person will be comfortable owning the programme from mobilisation through to practical completion, without the need for day to day senior management presence on site.
The Role
* You will take full responsibility for day to day site operations across a technically demanding fit out, coordinating specialist subcontractors, managing programme and maintaining the quality standards that a research and development environment demands.
* Operating as the most senior person on site, you will manage the interface between fit out works and the client directly, maintaining accurate records and acting as the primary point of contact in the absence of the visiting PM.
* You will oversee all RAMS compliance, sequencing and safe systems of work throughout the project lifecycle.
The Ideal Candidate
* You bring a solid background in commercial fit out or technically complex interior works, ideally gained within laboratory, healthcare, education or research and development settings.
* You are comfortable self managing on site and interfacing confidently with clients, consultants and specialist trades, with the experience to make sound decisions independently.
* You hold current SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS as a minimum, and your employment history reflects genuine tenure and commitment on projects of comparable value and complexity.
