About the Role:
As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a nursery room, ensuring children receive the highest standards of care, learning, and development in line with the EYFS framework. You will support and motivate your team while creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a nursery room, ensuring high-quality care and education.
* Support, mentor, and develop nursery practitioners within the room.
* Ensure compliance with EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
* Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers.
* Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's development.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to children's learning journeys.
Requirements:
* Level 3 (or above) qualification in a UK-recognised Early Years qualification.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
* Excellent safeguarding knowledge and commitment to child welfare.
* Previous leadership or senior nursery experience is desirable.
* Positive, enthusiastic, and child-centred approach.
