Operations Resilience & Business Continuity Lead

Contract Outside IR35

Location: Remote initially for 3-4 months, followed by travel to UK power station sites

Rate: Competitive market rate, dependent on experience

We are seeking an experienced Operations Resilience & Business Continuity Lead to support a complex power generation programme.

This role will lead the design, implementation and embedding of operational resilience and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) across live operational environments.

Required Experience

• Strong background in operational resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery and crisis management.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide resilience or BCP frameworks.
• Experience delivering resilience or continuity programmes within power generation, energy, utilities, nuclear, industrial or other asset-intensive environments.
• Hands-on experience working within live operational sites, plants or safety-critical environments.
• Experience leading Business Impact Assessments, criticality assessments, recovery planning and disruption-tolerance assessments.
• Strong understanding of Recovery Time Objectives, Recovery Point Objectives and operational risk management.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills across operational, engineering, security, risk and senior leadership teams.
