Key Stage Two Teacher – Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Key Stage Two Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive school community. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and ensuring strong pupil progress.

About the Role

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a KS2 class, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire and challenge all learners. You will play a key role in supporting pupils’ academic achievement and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

* Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor, evaluate, and support pupil progress

* Demonstrate strong knowledge of assessment frameworks, including formative and summative approaches

* Adapt teaching based on assessment outcomes to meet the needs of all learners

* Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment with a strong classroom presence

* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents

* Contribute to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Experience teaching in Key Stage Two (placements accepted for ECTs)

* Proven understanding of assessment practices and how they inform teaching and learning

* Confidence in tracking pupil progress and using data effectively

* Excellent classroom management skills and a strong, confident presence

* A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

Early Career Teachers (ECTs)

We warmly welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs). A comprehensive induction and mentoring programme will be provided to support your professional development.
