The successful Primary Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, guiding pupils through this important stage of Key Stage 1 and helping them prepare successfully for the transition into KS2.

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the Year 2 curriculum
Support pupils in developing strong foundations in reading, writing and mathematics
Use assessment effectively to identify next steps and accelerate progress
Create a nurturing and purposeful classroom environment
Work closely with colleagues to share best practice and maintain high standards

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who:

Holds QTS and recent UK primary teaching experience
Has a secure understanding of the KS1 curriculum
Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management
Is reflective, organised and committed to continuous improvement
Builds positive relationships with pupils, families and colleaguesApplications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and strong ECTs.
