Proactive Personnel are helping one of our large clients for additional Paint Preppers on site.

Responsibilities

* Prepare Steel units to be sprayed.

* Key, Clean and seal Process, Must seal neatly to a high standard.

* Priming and Other Painting using Rollers to be completed to a high standard

* Filler Work

* Polishing

* Masking Up

* Colour Matching

* Paint Mixing to ensure a perfect match in order to spray

* Quality Control/Inspection check on completion ensuring there are no defects

* Using the correct equipment and tooling as required.

* Ensuring correct PPE is worn at all times.

* Achieving an ongoing high rate of productivity.

* Report to team leader regarding updates on progress along with any issues that may arise.

* Fill in timesheets correctly and clearly and hand to team leader each week.

* Identifying workplace safety hazards.

* Adhering to safety management standards.

* Adhering to production schedules.

Skills

* Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding equipment and surface preparation techniques

* Proficiency in using hand tools such as sanders, scrapers, and brushes

* Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, or sanders is advantageous

* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when handling large or bulky items

* Strong attention to detail with an organised approach to work tasks

* Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately

You will be initially working afternoon shifts (14:00 - 22:00)
