A well-established specialist contractor is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team based in Stourbridge.
The business delivers a high volume of planned works and adaptation projects across occupied residential properties and is experiencing continued growth throughout the Midlands.
This role would suit an individual who enjoys managing multiple projects simultaneously and thrives within a fast-paced environment.
Typical Projects
* Domestic extensions
* Garage conversions
* Disabled access ramps
* Local Authority Schemes (LAS)
* Internal refurbishments and alterations
* Adaptations and improvement works
Responsibilities
* Commercial management of multiple live projects
* Subcontractor procurement and management
* Cost reporting and forecasting
* Variations and change management
* Valuations and applications
* Supply chain negotiations
* Client liaison
* Final account preparation and agreement
* Supporting operational teams to maximise project profitability
Candidate Requirements
* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction
* Planned maintenance, social housing, refurbishment or small works experience desirable
* Strong commercial awareness
* Organised and capable of managing numerous live projects
* Excellent communication skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
