The Opportunity
A leading contractor-developer is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a prestigious mixed-use development in South East London, incorporating residential, retail and commercial elements.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in the commercial delivery of a high-profile scheme with a well-established business renowned for delivering complex, high-quality developments across London.
You will take ownership of key subcontract packages, manage project costs and procurement activities, and work closely with senior management to ensure the successful commercial delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial delivery of residential, retail, and commercial subcontractor packages
- Oversee procurement, valuations, variations, and subcontract administration
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
- Prepare and contribute to monthly commercial reporting
- Manage subcontractor accounts through to final account settlement
- Work closely with operational teams, consultants, and key stakeholders
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
- Support the wider commercial team in achieving project objectives

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector
- Experience delivering residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments
- Strong knowledge of procurement, cost management, and subcontract administration
- Experience working for a reputable main contractor or developer
- Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple packages and stakeholder relationships effectively
- Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Driven, ambitious and keen to progress within a successful business
