Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate all paint shop activities, including loading and unloading of parts, to meet production schedules
Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of paint shop operatives to achieve output and quality targets
Monitor team performance and provide coaching to drive continuous improvement
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company health & safety policies and PPE requirements
Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure tasks are completed within target times
Approve and review team timesheets, ensuring accuracy at the end of each shift
Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and optimise machine/labour hours
Ensure all equipment servicing and maintenance is carried out and recorded
Manage storage and organisation of completed parts, including yard coordination

Requirements

Essential:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Proven team leadership or supervisory experience
Strong organisational and coordination skills
Good IT skills, including Excel and ERP systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
