Pertemps Education are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Watford, who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for a flexible role, with the school offering two days per week and flexibility on which days are worked. The successful candidate will join a nurturing environment where high-quality teaching and positive relationships are at the heart of everything they do.
The Role
Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that promote excellent progress and outcomes.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best possible educational experience for pupils.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.The Ideal CandidateThe school is looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
Has experience teaching within a primary school setting.
Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Is passionate about delivering high-quality education and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to the wider school community.What's on Offer?
Part-time position – 2 days per week.
Flexible working days to suit the successful candidate and the school's needs.
September 2026 start.
Salary paid in line with the Teacher Pay Scale, dependent on experience.
