We are seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and optimize their daily logistics operations.
Position Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day to day logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, cost control, customer satisfaction, and compliance with safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will lead operational teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure the achievement of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily warehouse, transportation, inventory, and distribution operations.
* Monitor operational performance against established KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs).
* Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
* Lead, motivate, and develop supervisors and operational staff.
* Manage workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet customer requirements.
* Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure effective stock control procedures.
* Work closely with customers to maintain high levels of service and address operational concerns.
* Analyze operational data and prepare reports for senior management.
* Support budget management and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvement.
* Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless execution of logistics activities.
* Lead investigations into operational issues and implement corrective actions.
Experience
* Operational management experience within logistics, warehousing, transportation, or a 3PL environment.
* Proven experience managing teams and achieving operational targets.
* Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and transportation processes.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
