An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finishing Foreman to join a well-established housebuilder delivering high-quality residential developments in the Torrington area.
This is an ongoing contract position offering competitive day rates, CIS payment options, and the opportunity to work with a professional and supportive site team focused on delivering homes to the highest standards.
The Role
As Finishing Foreman, you will play a key role in the final stages of the build programme, ensuring properties are completed to an exceptional standard and ready for handover.
Working closely with the Site Manager, subcontractors and customer care teams, you will oversee finishing trades, monitor quality, and ensure deadlines are achieved without compromising workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and coordinating finishing trades on site.
Driving quality standards across all plots and communal areas.
Conducting snagging inspections and ensuring defects are rectified promptly.
Monitoring health and safety compliance across finishing works.
Ensuring plots are completed and handed over in line with programme requirements.
Liaising with subcontractors to ensure works are completed efficiently and to specification.
Supporting site management with quality control and customer-focused delivery.
Maintaining excellent site presentation and standards throughout the development.
About You
To be considered, you will have:
Previous experience as a Finishing Foreman, Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager within residential construction.
A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality.
Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating finishing trades.
Good organisational and communication skills.
A proactive approach to problem solving and programme delivery.
Valid SMSTS, SSSTS or equivalent site management certification (preferred).
CSCS card.
