Location: Dundee
Pay Rate: £14.20 per hour, Overtime also available at time and a half
Contract Type: Temporary (Ongoing Opportunity with potential permanent opportunities)

Shift Pattern - 9am - 5pm, Weekdays. Early finish on Fridays

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for Assembly Operators to join a well-established and highly respected manufacturing organisation in Dundee. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a clean, modern, and quality-driven environment where precision and attention to detail are key.

You will play a vital role in the production of high-quality components, working as part of a supportive and structured team while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Precision Assembly

Assemble small, delicate, and often intricate components to exact specifications
Use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to ensure accuracy in every buildWorking to Instructions

Follow detailed written, diagrammatic, and visual instructions
Ensure consistency and compliance with strict manufacturing processesQuality Assurance

Carry out visual inspections and quality checks throughout the assembly process
Identify and report defects or inconsistencies to maintain production standardsHealth & Safety Compliance

Adhere to all on-site health & safety procedures and policies
Maintain a clean and organised work environment in line with company expectationsProductivity & Team Contribution

Work both independently and collaboratively to meet daily and weekly targets
Take ownership of your own output, ensuring quality and efficiency

Experience & Skills Required

Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly is highly desirable

Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and consistently
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful candidates will be required to complete a Disclosure Scotland check (fully funded)
A 3-year employment history check will be carried out, including explanation of any gaps
