Looking to build a rewarding career in complex care? If you have at least 3 months' care experience, we'll provide all the specialist training you need to support a young boy with complex clinical needs in his own home.

What you'll be doing

As a Support Worker, you'll support a bright and engaging 9-year-old boy with a range of complex needs. You'll help him enjoy everyday life, participate in therapies, communicate effectively, and engage in the activities he loves.

He is non-verbal and uses a Smartbox to communicate. He enjoys music, technology, YouTube, gaming, sensory activities, and spending time interacting with those around him.

He is very switched on and benefits from support workers who are patient, engaging, and able to build positive relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Personal care
• PEG management and medication administration
• Seizure management
• Supporting therapy programmes and passive exercises
• Music and sensory activities
• Attending hydrotherapy appointments
• Promoting communication, engagement, and independence

What are we looking for?

• Male and female Support Workers are welcome to apply
• At least 3 months' care or support work experience
• Experience supporting children or adults with SEN, learning disabilities, or additional needs is desirable
• Manual driving licence essential
• Nursery Nurses with SEN experience are welcome to apply
• Strong communication skills and a good sense of humour
• A patient, engaging, and family-centred approach
• An interest in music, gaming, technology, or sensory play would be an advantage

The ideal candidates will be patient, engaging, and enthusiastic, with a good sense of humour and a genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential.

No Complex Care Experience?

Don't worry if you've never worked in complex care before.

If you have at least 3 months' care experience, we'll provide comprehensive, paid-for training and ongoing clinical support to help you develop your skills and confidence.

What are your benefits?
